Modi Government Start 12 TV Channels for Online School Classes

The government has decided to start 12 channels for online education of school children. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday announced the launch of 12 new channels under the ‘One Class One Channel’ scheme for children’s education. He said that children are already being educated through self-efficacy DTH and 12 new channels will be brought under it and children from villages will be able to take advantage of it.

He said that the Prime Minister’s e-learning program will be launched soon. Announcing the initiation of a new platform for education, the Finance Minister said that there will be a TV channel for every classroom and radio and community radio will be used. The Finance Minister also announced approval to introduce online courses to 100 top-level universities in the country.

The Finance Minister was giving details of the measures for the fifth and final episode of the Rs 20 lakh crore relief package brought under self-reliant India during a press conference here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a relief package of Rs 20 lakh crore to deal with the economic challenges faced by the Corona epidemic.
